About the Cabin

Black Bear Holler is the ideal place for families and friends to relax and unwind. Lots of activities for all ages - soaking in the hot tub, fishing, ping pong, indoor and outdoor games, board games, and a fire pit! Ample space inside and out to make new memories, explore nature, or sit and enjoy the quiet. Disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with what matters. The Space - 3 Bedrooms plus a Loft contain 1 King and 3 Queen beds. 3.5 bathrooms provide a full bathroom on each floor with a half bath on the main floor. Living Room, Sunroom, Dining Room, Kitchen, and a Game Room.

Fantastic, waterfront log home nestled on 10+ wooded acres with two (2) fishing ponds.

Hot tub on patio from walkout basement overlooks the pond and dock.

Partial wrap-around deck with panoramic views is a great property for watching birds and wildlife (foxes, coyotes, bobcats, deer, turkey).

Sunroom is fantastic for sitting peacefully and viewing the surrounding woods, ponds, and wildlife.

Spacious living room, large wood-burning fireplace, large windows with truly amazing views!

Family and friends will love gathering around the large, hand-carved wood table. Five (5) chairs and a bench seat eight (8) people comfortably.

Fully-stocked kitchen has every appliance, pot, pan, utensil, dish, and food storage solution you could need. Huge refrigerator, electric glass top stove, dishwasher, carafe and Keurig coffee makers, toaster.

Full-Size washer and dryer.

Bear's Den (owner suite) king bed en suite bath with shower stall (no tub), toilet, and single sink vanity.

Bullfrog Room dormer window is a wonderful space to sit and relax with a great view of the pond.

Heron's Nest bedroom has a queen bed, skylight, and extra space for an air mattress if needed.

Loft with queen bed, large "Big Joe Fuf" foam bean bag lounger, 32-inch Smart TV with DirecTV, BluRay.

Buckeye Cave is a walkout basement and large entertainment space:

- Walkout to hot tub, patio, and backyard firepit with direct access to the pond.

- 55” smart HDTV with DirecTV Cable and BlueRay/DVD player. Over 100 movies (all ratings).

- Full wet bar with tabletop games.

- Board games and books for all ages.

- Table Tennis, cornhole, mini putting green, cork dart board, washer toss game, ladder toss.

- “Comfy Corner” with wood-burning stove.

- ¾ Bath (shower, toilet, sink)

- Outdoor equipment: camp chairs, fishing gear, chaise lounges, hammock chairs.

Security Cameras - There are no cameras inside the house whatsoever. The three (3) cameras that we have only view spaces visible to the public, where there is no expectation of privacy. Your privacy is important to us, and you can expect full privacy while you stay with us. 

Guest access

Guests rent the entire property (except for the garage). You'll have the whole log home to yourself - 3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen), 3.5 baths, loft with 4th Queen bed, living room, dining room, sun room, and walkout basement game room/bar that opens to the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing ponds. You'll have complete privacy check-in to check-out. The garage is off-limits to guests and should not be entered under any circumstances.

Other things to note

You must be 21 or older to rent. Our complete rental agreement will be sent upon booking. Please take time to read and understand the agreement. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

We are an independent, family-owned and operated rental, not a faceless corporation with a property manager service. We are a real family running a real business. To ensure we provide you with an exceptional stay, we stay here ourselves to have the "guest experience" and determine what improvements can be made.
