Black Bears have returned to the Cambridge area. Please be careful about leaving food outside.
These fawns were frolicking on the dam. We let the grass grow wild so they have plenty to eat.
One of the hundreds of bullfrogs that live around the pond. You'll love listening to them sing throughout the day and night!
We love watching the Blue Heron as they stalk around the edges of the pond looking for food. They're so beautiful and graceful!
We have quite a few hummingbirds who visit the holler. We let as much of the property grow wild as we can to help preserve their habitat.
The fish population is healthy, so we have quite a few birds who come to fish here. This Osprey is quite the hunter and visits regularly.
We've had a rafter (group) of turkeys that comes through a couple of times a year. We've seen as many as 12 birds together!
Deer are regular visitors in the holler. We recommend you take binoculars (by the door) when you're outside so you can get the best view.
We love the turtles in the pond! You can sit on the deck and watch them sunning themselves in the pond.
Busted! Our trail cameras catch some great, candid, photos of the deer. We're glad they're not camera shy!
Coyotes move through the holler looking for a meal. Please be careful not to leave food laying around outside, & keep an eye on small kids!
